About Fritzi

Fritzi Bodenheimer is an experienced and skilled communicator based in Washington D.C. Comfortable behind the microphone or in front of the teleprompter, clients enjoy her clear articulation and authoritative but friendly style.

Fritzi’s experience ranges from delivering live newscasts and voicing features for the Voice of America to recording newspapers for the blind.  She hosted the Telly award-winning talk show Conversations in Montgomery County Maryland, from 2005 to 2009, as well as writing and voicing promotional materials for the show. 

Fritzi’s experience also includes reading newscasts, emceeing live events, and hosting pledge drive breaks and conducting interviews for a variety of public radio outlets in Maryland and Massachusetts.

In addition, as a private consultant and professor of communication, Fritzi has helped thousands of speakers to deliver clear conversational presentations and talking points through workshops and one on one mentoring sessions.  She is the author of The Woman’s Public Speaking Handbook (2004, Wadsworth).

Previously, Fritzi trained hospital workers in medical terminology and can clearly and smoothly pronounce medical words without disrupting the flow of the copy. 

With a master’s degree in speech communication, voice training at Edge Studios and college-level coursework in digital audio, Fritzi has the right voice and experience to deliver the message for your next job.
